Global Steel Wire, positioned among the European leaders in high added value wire rod, has an extensive range of qualities and diameters ranging from 5.5mm to 52mm, manufactured in accordance with international standards and adapted to the clients’ technical specifications. .
Depending on its composition and characteristics, wire rod is available in low, medium and high carbon steels (between 0.05% and 1.25%) with different alloy grades (Al, B, Cr, Mn, Mo, P, Si, S , among others). Furthermore, the wire rod can be supplied in round or hexagonal section, in different roll formats and with a wide variety of thermal and surface treatments.

Dimensions of the Wire Rod
We offer the best solutions to our clients, thinking and working together to improve their productivity. Our wire rod roll dimensions are the largest on the market, having standard rolls of 2.6 Tons and 3.1 Tons.
We offer the possibility of cutting the rolls in half, obtaining 1.3 Tons and 1.55 Tons per roll, respectively.

Manufacturing process
Its industrial process, completely ecological, uses scrap metal as its fundamental raw material, melting it in a steelworks made up of an electric furnace, to obtain steel in the form of a semi-product called billet.
